Missing...

Hello readers!!!I Hope you all are really well! I'm going to talk about a very close friend today...I really don't wanna talk about people here on my blog...specially about my feelings for my friends and family, but today is her birthday and I felt moved with this and for that reason I named my post today as "Missing"....cuz she is one of my friend that I miss most. I met Nilvane(Nil) for the first time in 2005 when she was visiting the CCAMP(Brazilian Buddhist Center) supporting members of Argentina. I had just finished my Spanish course so I was trying to talk with this members. Of course, I was doing loads of mistakes in Spanish, but she didn't correct me or point any mistakes at all. You know this kind of person that keeps telling you if you have made any mistakes talking in another language? She would be this kind of person because her Spanish is perfect, but instead of doing this, she gave me the space and was really kind. When I said to her that I would visit Buenos Aires in the next year, she immediately gave to me her contacts so I could talk to her and she would help me in some way(she would be living in Buenos Aires in that year). I went to BsAs for the fist time in the end of January 2006. As my first international trip, I was felt really nervous and I had loads of troubles with my spanish in my first 2 days alone there. I finally meet Nil there near to Obelisco and she brought me to an amazing Buddhist meeting near to City Center. I can say, that there, a new friendship started. We had wonderful moments there. In the same year, we came back to BsAs in December for a trip of 20 days. It was unforgettable(despite the incredible foggy and warm weather). As we both were suffering with financial conditions(lol) we went trough a trip from Sao Paulo to Buenos Aires in a travel Bus for 48 hours!!! I have to tell you, you have to really love someone to have this kind of trip and no have even an argue. Back to BsAs, there we met Juan Pablo, a guy completely polite, kind and with a smile that could make you feel safely. After 5 days, Nil and Juan Pablo were completely in love for each other. And she gave me the news that, this same wonderful guy said to her that he would like to move to Brazil and marriage her. Waittttttttttttttttttttttttt a minute, but they just met a few days ago??? Yes, I thought the same...I was awed and I have to confess that it was hard to believe in the beginning. Likewise, I was really concerned with Nil and this all fairytale...Well, love is something really hard to understand. After 3 month we came back to Brazil, Juan Pablo arrived on Sao Paulo...he left his life, the comfort of his home and his family for her. After 1 year together(facing so may obstacles and difficulties) they got married and I had the precious opportunity of being one of Juan's best man(as you can see in one of the pics here). Our friendship have been growing since then and I miss they both a lot. Nil is a specially person, with a enormous heart, with a sensitive feeling for feelings, culture and life. Juan, as I described already, is one of my best friend...I know that he will be there for my, no matter what. Happy birthday Nil, I love you so much and I really appreciate our friendship. Never give up and keep this pure and genuine heart with you forever. Thanks guys for reading and so sorry for so many "cheesy" moments...Hope you all can one day find your "right person" and live your own fairytale as Juan and Nil...

Iphoning...

Yes, I named this post today as "Iphoning"...lol yes, I'm completely addicted to Iphone 4!!!If you didn't realize it before through my facebook...(sorry!)...lol Last thrusday I finally got my Iphone 4(not the white one though, but I'm quite happy anyway that the colour doesn't matter anymore)...I'm sooo impressed with it. I heard loads of people talking about how amazing this phone is and everything it has. But guys, really, you can just understand that when you have one and you have everything in your hands, and I mean it! Likewise, here in Ireland you can get one in a good price compared with Brazil. Here you have to pay 250 euro or less to get one in a bill pay...you have to keep your bill for at least 1 year. But even though, you can use everthing in your phone to make your life easier. When I mention "easier" I don't mean being lazy(despite that sometimes(all the times) I'm lazy actually...lol), but I mean do everything in a very fast way and with quality. I was really moved when I could turn my cam on and my Dad could talk and watch me while I was with my friends. And I don't have to pay any extra for it. And now I'm learning to use it in my favor as well, I'm being organized, I can use some applications for study purpose, dictionaries, phrases, note books. Things that I would love to do, but was hard to take action and do it in someway, are now being part of my life. And I really like it...so, I know that sometimes we have doubts about doing something...specially when it involves money, but If you're talking about Iphone, go for it! I think technology can truly help us...and this was a little post sharing with you how an simple phone could make a special moment with my Dad. Love you guys...Jr

Restarting...

Hello everybody!!! Long time since I don't post here(1 month actually, so sorry for that!!!). In fact, the last month was kind of hard for me in some way...I will tell about it in the future ok? I don't wanna talk about that right now...what I came here to talk today is about Jamie Cullum!!! Yeahhhhh...the British singer...I start listening to Jamie's music a long time ago when I was researching for new singers...I felt a kind of excitement that I couldn't explain why I was feeling that...Some musics I just absolutely love immediately(specially the sad ones...I'm very depressive musically talking)...on the other hand, I couldn't understand some musics...maybe it was how different and uncommon is his music. After that I've been trying to go to some of the Jamie's concerts around the world. He did one in Brazil before, I guess it was in 2006, but I didn't have enough money to go(it was too expansive actually)...Here at Dublin, he did another concert last year but I was working and I couldn't go. He is in tour now trough Europe(but He was in Brazil this month for Natura Concert) and most of the tickets are sold out. After a hard researching(tickets, flight, places, holidays, money, etc...etc) I can now say that I'm finally going to watch his show!!! =] In the end of the next month, Jamie will be playing in a Music Festival(Free) at Netherlands(Den Haag - 30 min of Amsterdam). I got the days off from work and I will book my flights tomorrow...My big friend Priscila is going with me(Thanks Pri). And I might have the opportunity to meet another friend that is living there, Aina. CAN'T WAIT!!! PS - Thanks for reading(I got more than 150 visits...\0/)...and I promise I will write more frequently...Jr

Reading...

Hello again everybody!!! Thanks for reading...hehehe...I have to say that I'm happy here trying to share my experiences and thought with all of you while I'm developing my english in some way... =] And I want to talk quickly about that...I had a very poor high school, I can easily say that I almost didn't read any book in my HS..and that's terrible! =\ Specially cuz now it's really hard to me to read any book...I get bored sooooo easily and it's hard to keep in mind what I read in after a few minutes...anyway, I determined to put more of myself in reading...since March I read 2 Books...as you can see the covers here! =] And I'm now trying American Literature, The Catcher in the Rye...as one of my teachers in Brazil, Lucy Goshima, shared to me that this is really good to start. I'm loving it and I think I'm starting to like the magic of reading...I will share my impressions about that book when I finish it! =] Thank ya guys, Love all of you...

Weekend...

Hello everyone...it's Junior again...hahaha, of course it's me, this is my blog!!! =] Hope everyone liked it...there's loads of things that I have to do here...change layout, colors, pics, etc...but everything will be done in time...let's talk about my weekend...I had an amazing time with the best Irish family...The Whelans... There, besides the perfect food we had, we always have sometime to watch some movie or do something together... and there is a series that I have been watching lately...it's an American series called Battlestar Galactica...really nice, well produced, brilliant actors and a story that is going to take your breath away sometimes...lol It really helps me with my English while I'm having fun at the same time...actually, I'm an addicted to American Series(Brothers and Sisters, Smallville, Friends, The Big Bang Theory, The O.C, Glee, Prison Break- just to give you an idea)...and in my opinion they're really great to improve your vocabulary and to put you in contact with american culture in general...well, some of the stories have no connection directly with american culture or style, but some ideas, facts or opinions are presumably hidden on the context of the series...and I absolutely love it! I would love studying american culture and society...can't wait to it in the future...well, almost Monday here in Dublin so let's finish it cuz I ought to wake up early tomorrow to work...Happy easter everyone and thanks for reading...byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! XD

Starting...

Well well well...my first post and I have no idea what should I say...actually, first of all I would like to say thanks to my friends Ana and Tati(Pics just beside - with Ana on Trets Students course in France and with Tati at a restaurant in London - both pictures from my travels of the last year)...they both are writing on their blogs and it really encouraged me to do the same...I've being thing about developing my writing abilities(I really hate it and it's really hard to me!!! =\ ) in awhile and after so much time I think I'm finally able to do so...of course, there will be loads of mistakes here and I'm open to hear what everyone have to say about my writings, opinions, thoughts, whatever...lol This is just to start!!! Welcome guys... XD
